在2018年北美KubeCon上，我们曾经对 Kata Containers, gVisor 以及 runC进行过量化的性能比较，探讨了CPU/网络方面的性能，尤其是Kata在文件系统性能开销和内存占用开销。

时隔半年，Kata Containers 已经加入了FireCracker的支持，通过引入virtio-fs增强了文件系统的支持，并利用shimv2提供了和containerd的无缝集成。正如我们所预期的那样，在2019年里，安全容器开始向着产品化方面迈出了坚实的步伐。

然而，安全是一个端到端的问题，我们所需要的不仅是容器运行时的安全，而是一个安全的服务。在这个演讲中，我们不仅会介绍我们在安全容器方面的进展，也会介绍我们将ServiceMesh跑在安全容器平台之上的实践工作。
