Arun Gupta is head of the Open Source Program Office at Apple and chairperson of CNCF Governing Board. Previously, he worked at Amazon, partnering  with multiple engineering teams to help define their open source strategy. He has spent over a decade at Sun Microsystems and Oracle to help define, build, and promote the Java platform to enterprises. He is an open source enthusiast, speaking in over 45+ countries, authoring books, and being a Docker Captain, a Java Champion, and JUG leader. He also founded the Devoxx4Kids chapter in the US and continues to promote technology education among children. Arun is an avid runner, and is easily accessible at @arungupta on twitter.
