Yuan Chen is a Principal Architect at JD Silicon Valley R&D Center. He has 15+ years of research and industrial experience in the areas of large scale distributed systems, cloud computing and cluster management. His current work focuses on efficient resource management for cloud native systems and platforms. He was a Principal Scientist at HP Labs prior to JD. His work contributed to multiple open source releases, 12 patents and 60+ papers. He regularly speaks at professional venues and serves on program committee of IEEE and ACM conferences. He got a Ph.D. in CS from Georgia Tech.
